2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company or creator profile details, social media handles, payment-related details, and any content or messages you submit (for example, when joining our waitlist or contacting us).
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Information from connected platforms: where you connect a social media or advertising account (such as YouTube, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, or Google) using that platform’s authorisation (OAuth) flow, we receive the profile and performance data that you authorise the platform to share with us, subject to its terms and your permissions. The specific data we collect from YouTube and Instagram is described in Section 7 below.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. We may use analytics and advertising tools provided by third parties such as Google and Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Brands and creators as necessary to facilitate a campaign you participate in;
  • Advertising and analytics platforms such as Meta and Google, where you have enabled relevant integrations;

7. Third-Party Platform Data (YouTube and Instagram)

Reteo lets creators connect their YouTube and Instagram accounts so that performance analytics can be displayed on our platform to the creator and to brands evaluating or running campaigns with that creator. This section explains how we handle data from these platforms.

YouTube API Services. Reteo uses YouTube API Services to access data from YouTube accounts that you choose to connect. By connecting your YouTube account, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. When you connect your YouTube account, we access, collect, and store: your channel profile information (channel name, ID, and picture), channel statistics (such as subscriber, view, and video counts), video metadata, and analytics and performance metrics (such as views, watch time, engagement, and audience demographics) that you authorise us to access.

Reteo’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Meta Platforms (Instagram). When you connect your Instagram account, we access, collect, and store: your profile information (username, ID, and profile picture), account type, follower and media counts, media and post metadata, and insights and performance metrics (such as reach, impressions, engagement, and audience demographics) that you authorise us to access, in accordance with Meta’s Platform Terms.

How we use and share this data. We use data from connected platforms solely to provide the Services: to display your analytics on your Reteo profile, to share those analytics with brands on our platform for the purpose of evaluating, planning, and measuring campaigns, and to aggregate performance reporting for campaigns you participate in. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising purposes, or transfer it to third parties except as described in this Policy or as required by law.

Revoking access. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from your account settings on Reteo. You can also revoke Reteo’s access directly with the platform: for Google/YouTube, via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions; for Instagram, via your Instagram or Facebook account settings (Settings → Apps and Websites).

Storage and deletion. We refresh or delete stored YouTube API data at least every 30 days. When you disconnect a platform account or delete your Reteo account, we delete the data we collected from that platform within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You may also request deletion of your platform data at any time by emailing admin@reteo.in, and we will process the request in accordance with applicable law and platform policies.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Data obtained from connected platforms such as YouTube and Instagram is retained and deleted as described in Section 7 above.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@reteo.in. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

13. Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
